Can you help? @arizonansforchildren are looking for volunteers to mentors for children in foster care. Most of the children are placed in group homes. Volunteers are asked to commit to the youth for a minimum of 1 year so that they have a consistent relationship in their life. 8 hours a month is the preferred minimum amount of hours with the child. Weekly visits are preferred. Most of the kids just need to get out of the home for a few hours and just "be kids"/ have fun. Mentors also can help the kids with their academic and Homework. A lot of children need help with reading and math.
